COMMUNITY DONATIONS 2009

The Dancers Studio has proudly supported Cancer Council SA.
We have donated $1000.00

Tragically one of our Dance mothers (Jodi Lee) passed away in January this year from Bowel Cancer after a 2 year battle with the disease, leaving behind 2 young children Jack & Arabella.
Her Husband has been undertaking fundraising efforts to fight bowel cancer & The Dancer Studio supported these efforts in 2009.

More recently Jodi's Husband has set up a Foundation in Jodi's name to continue the fight against bowel cancer.

Each year bowel cancer kills more people than breast cancer & prostate cancer combined.

The focus of the Foundation is to raise awareness that early detection could save your life.

Screening kits are available from most pharmacies or speak to your GP.
